Challenge One: The Animal Pot
We’re kicking things off with an all-time favourite - the animal pot! Deceptively challenging, animal pots are a great way to test your talents using familiar forms from everyday life. We’ve showcased some incredible animal pots made by Sculpdrs on our Instagram feed over the past few months for you to use as inspiration.
An elephants trunk, a whale’s tail, a bear’s paw - with a touch of creative flair you can bring them to life.
Challenge One Rules:
Your piece must be based on, and resemble, an animal in one way or another. It must also be a functional pot of any size with any purpose. It can be lifelike, simplified or abstract. It can be painted or unpainted, it’s up to you how you and your imagination how you choose to interpret it.
The challenge one winners will be announced on Sunday 24th Jan at 7.30pm. Good luck!
